OSHKOSH, Wis–The completion of two major housing developments on the south side of Oshkosh are being pushed back. The Oshkosh Common Council has approved amendments to tax incremental financing agreements for the Miles Kimball Apartments and the Mill on Main projects.
The conversion of the former Miles Kimball building on South Main has been delayed by supply chain issues, unexpected project costs, and labor shortages. The deadline to complete that project has been pushed back for a third time, to June 1st of next year.
Meanwhile, the start of work on the Mill on Main–which will feature apartments, condos, office space and retail is being pushed back to March 31st of next year–with completion now expected by the end of 2025. The developers say they have run into increased costs for financing the project.
