MADISON, Wis–The two-year Universities of Wisconsin campus in Fond du Lac is ending in-person instruction. An announcement by System President Jay Rothman says on-campus classes will cease at the end of this school year, and that only on-line instruction will be available.
In-person classes at U-W Washington County will also end after this school year.
The cuts come as U-W Oshkosh, which oversees the Fond du Lac campus, is facing an $18-million budget deficit. Enrollment in Fond du Lac had declined to just more than 250-students.
