In light of Giving Tuesday, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has shared exciting news about their Year-End Giving Campaign. Kessler-Fahrenkrug Funeral Home has decided to generously match donations up to $10,000, doubling the impact.
As detailed in a recent press release from the Fox Cities P.A.C., contributions support mission-based programming designed to connect students with similar interests in the arts and broaden their perspectives. The programs that allow these opportunities include the Amcor Education Series, the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program, Frank C. Shattuck Performing Arts Touch the Hearts of Students (P.A.T.H.S.) Program, and more.
Emily Ponkratz, Senior Manager of Development at Fox Cities P.A.C. stated in the press release: “Whether you give $1 or $1,000, you help ignite curiosity, shape new perspectives, and build an empathic and strengthened community.”
Donations help the Fox Cities P.A.C. provide performing arts experiences for people of all ages, interests, backgrounds, and abilities. Over 450,000 students and educators have benefited from the Amcor Education Series since it opened in November 2002 because of generous contributions from the community over the years.
Per the press release, during the Center’s 20th Anniversary Season, Annual Partners provided 15,612 students and educators the opportunity to attend Amcor Education Series performances, with 927 individuals receiving scholarships. These scholarships have removed the financial barriers for students, giving them the opportunity to partake in these great educational experiences.
Donations also create opportunities for high school students interested in the arts to grow in confidence and creativity, while developing life-long friendships through programs like the Center Stage High School Musical Theater Program and the P.A.T.H.S. Program.
