APPLETON, Wis–One person is dead after being hit by a semi along Interstate 41. The State Patrol says the victim got out of a vehicle along southbound I-41 near the Meade Street overpass and ran into the path of an on-coming semi just after 8:00 this (Friday) morning.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. One other person was hurt. A report on the crash does not identify that person.
