MADISON, Wis–Most school districts in our area will see substantial increases in state aid next year. The Department of Public Instruction releases its annual general aid numbers for 2025.

The Appleton Area School District will get an additional $10-million from the state next year, an increase of 10% from this year. The Oshkosh Area School District funding is also going up 10%, which is an additional $7.5 million.
The Green Bay Area School District will receive $13.8 million more next year, an increase of 7.6%.
Menasha Schools will see their state funding increase more than 11%, or $3.7-million. Neenah’s increase will be flat, getting just $460,000 more from the state.
