DODGE COUNTY, Wis. — Two motorcyclists are seriously injured in separate Dodge County crashes Saturday.
The sheriff’s office says the first accident involved a 45-year-old Brandon man who missed a curve along Highway GI in the town of Lowell and went into the ditch around 3 p.m.
The operator suffered severe head injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.
Deputies say alcohol was a factor in that crash.
In the second accident, a 19-year-old Beaver Dam man was riding with three other bikers along Redwood Road in the town of Trenton around 4:30 p.m. when he entered a curve too fast and lost control of the bike.
He was thrown from the machine and airlifted to a trauma center.
That crash is under investigation.
