Election season in Wisconsin has always generated a buzz, even in off year elections. Needless to say though, as November approaches, this year just feels a little bit different.
This will be the first election for the Wisconsin State Assembly/State Senate that will be with the newly drawn maps via the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court decision. With this major change, state Democrats believe they have a chance to not only be more competitive in each district, but possibly even flip the Assembly
Amaad Rivera-Wagner is the Chief of Staff for Mayor Genrich in Green Bay, and is running for the vacated seat in the 90th district representing the eastern part of Green Bay.
Not only is he running for the seat, but he is also a surrogate for the Kamala Harris campaign.
He joined me to talk about his platform, the debates from Tuesday, and the plan for the Harris campaign for the next 50+ days.
