MENASHA, WI — What seemed like a fire drill at Menasha High School this (Wednesdday) morning was actually a water emergency. School officials say around 8:45 AM a water pipe froze which sett of a fire sprinkler and a fire alarm. Menasha Superintendent Matt Zimmerman explains that classes went on after a brief interruption.
Zimmerman says the damage is still being assessed and credits school staff with quickly getting things back to normal.
Zimmerman says it’s not yet known what the cost of repairs will total.
