TOWNSHIP OF ALGOMA, Wis. — One person is dead following a crash in Winnebago County.
The sheriff’s office says a pickup truck and an Amazon delivery van collided along State Highway 21 in the township of Algoma shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday. The truck then became engulfed in flames.
The driver, a 30-year-old Berlin man, was pulled from the vehicle. Life-saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful.
The condition of the 30-year-old Appleton woman operating the van was not released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
