We’re getting a closer look at an upcoming event benefiting people living with Lymphedema. Jennifer Edmondson, founder of the nonprofit Health, Education & Welfare, along with physical therapist Teresa Iattoni join us to provide more information. This event is the first-ever in Wisconsin that is specifically for Lymphedema survivors, and we’re establishing the first ever financial aid fund to help people afford their compression garments
The event is Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fox Valley Technical College. You can find more information on registration, here.
We also talked with Matthew Kaemmerer, Director of Pupil Services with the Oshkosh Area School District. He’s here to tell us more about their Rise Up Program, which is a comprehensive mental health plan in the district.
