A woman from Green Bay is talking about the civil unrest in Haiti.
Brittany Galvin moved to the Caribbean country about a year-and-a-half ago and she works in a hospital. She says it’s a dangerous situation with people blocking cars, throwing rocks, and even shooting cars in some areas.
The U.S. government issued a travel ban to Haiti. A group of about 30 people from the Green Bay Friends of Haiti group were supposed to go to the country next month for a mission trip. Those plans are now on hold.
