The Weidner Center’s first fully-produced play debuts tonight, and it might not be the only time the Green Bay center puts together a show.
“Lombardi” is based on the life of legendary Packers coach Vince Lombardi.
Executive Director Kelli Strickland says it was a lot of work, but it was also very exhilarating. She thinks they’ll produce another play in the future. She believes there’s a lot of theater talent in the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Door County areas.
“Lombardi” runs through March 10th on the UW-Green Bay campus.
