ThedaCare will now accept donations of homemade masks.
They won’t replace the protective equipment for health care workers, but the masks could be used for a number of things.
They could be given to coronavirus patients when they go home, family members of COVID-19 patients, and higher risk people at ThedaCare’s nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Patients and visitors at clinics and hospitals could also use them.
ThedaCare has a specific pattern for people to use.
