Coats for Kids – Help a Child. Donate a Coat.

Fall is here, and winter is just around the corner! As you start bundling up for the colder months, why not take a moment to declutter those bulky winter coats that your children have outgrown?

This year, join us in making a meaningful impact through The Salvation Army’s annual Coats for Kids program! By donating those gently used coats, you’re not only freeing up space in your closet (imagine opening it with ease!), but also helping underprivileged children stay warm as temperatures drop.

Just think: a simple act of clearing out your closet can bring comfort and warmth to a child in need.

New or Gently-Used Clean Winter Coats can be dropped off between Monday, September 23rd and Thursday, October 24th.

Other Ways to Donate
Walmart – Registry For Good – purchase a coat from the Manitowoc or Greater Green Bay Walmart and they’ll ship it directly to that Salvation Army.

Register for Coats for Kids
Families can find more information and sign up for the Coats for Kids program now by contacting their local chapter of the Salvation Army. Coat distribution dates vary by location. One child in each family receives a new winter coat and the other children receive gently used winter coats.

Volunteer for Coats for Kids Set-up and Distribution
There are multiple shifts available to help set up and distribute coats. Please contact the volunteer organizer of your local Salvation Army chapter for more details.
