After 40 years behind the microphone, WHBY’s Good Neighbor Kathy Keene announced her retirement. Kathy joined Woodward Communications in January 1981.  On September 6, 1981, she became the host of the Good Neighbor Show on WHBY. During her time in broadcast, Kathy was awarded the Social and Digital Media “Best Personality” award at the 2016 WBA Awards. She was also honored in 2018 with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Local Legend Award. Kathy’s last day on air was May 28, 2021.

In celebration of WHBY’s centennial milestone, we are honoring a key figure in our history: The Good Neighbor, Kathy Keene. Over the years, she’s released numerous beloved cookbooks, and we have curated 20 of her best to share with you as part of the anniversary festivities.
