There’s a proposal to merge the UW System’s two-year campuses with the four-year schools, and UW Fox Valley would be connected with UW Oshkosh.
UW Fond du Lac would also join them as a regional branch.
Dean Martin Rudd oversees UW Fox and UW Fond du Lac. He says UW Fox has seen an enrollment decline of about 30 percent.
The number young adults in the state has been declining.
Rudd says the merger would give students more access to upper-level courses at UW Fox Valley.
The plan calls for UW Green Bay to merge with the two-year schools in Manitowoc, Marinette, and Sheboygan.
System President Ray Cross introduced the proposal yesterday.
