Supporters of a program in Brown County say the local graduation rate is up over the last three years.
Achieve Brown County released its annual report today. The group works on issues that impact people between their birth, and when they start their professional career.
Executive Director Adam Hardy says it’s the first time in over a decade that the high school rate is above the state average. He says they’ll continue to work on that, and try to boost graduation rates at UW-Green Bay, St. Norbert College, and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Achieve Brown County was created in 2014.
