Stakeholders broke ground on the Loop the Little Lake trestle project today.
Two bridges will be built to connect Neenah and Menasha through Doty Island.
Future Neenah executive director Amy Barker says the bridges will complete the loop. She says the project should be complete and ready for summer of 2018.
The $3.4 million project was spearheaded by fundraising efforts by Future Neenah, a grant from the DNR, and money from the communities of Neenah and Menasha.
