Young women have been part of Scouting for decades in co-ed programs offered by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). In recent years, girls have been welcomed into Cub Scouts and into Scouts BSA last February. Since then, tens of thousands of young women have joined the program and are working their way towards the rank of Eagle Scout, which is an achievement that only 6% of scouts reach.
We are joined today by two young women who have completed the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout. They are part of a group of 15 girls in the Bay-Lakes Council that are part of the inaugural class of female eagle scouts. Meet Aubree Kubicki (Green Bay), who built a dog ramp and storage bench for Misfit Muts Dog Rescue, and Regan Schwartz (Greenville – created a blessing box to serve as a free pantry in her community.

It’s another opportunity of food distribution for families. This Wednesday, February 24 a mobile food pantry arrives at Fox Cities Stadium, powered by Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, along with the USDA and Fox Cities Chapter of Credit Unions.
