Profits are up at the Oshkosh Corporation.
The vehicle-maker reports net income of $128 million for the second quarter of the fiscal year. That’s up from $111 million in the same three months of last year.
Defense manufacturing led the way for Oshkosh, with a 14 percent increase in sales over last year.
CEO Wilson Jones is also telling shareholders he’s not concerned with potential cuts to the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle program. The Pentagon is reducing its order in the next budget. Jones believes there is still plenty of work.
