A state agency is asking people for their thoughts on proposed changes to academic standards.
The Department of Public Instruction is updating them.
Director of Literacy and Mathematics John Johnson says they’re setting the expectations for what kids should learn. He says they have an online survey about the standards.
The agency updates the standards every seven years.
