Philsh Fry Follow-Up
Monday, Nov, 5 2012
They served about 40 of those bad boys, meaning "Big John" the owner contributed a nice chunk of change to the funds going to the Thompson Community Center.
That's director Tony Gonzales chatting with me during a break in Friday's show.
CLICK HERE to see a few more pictures, but the real selection of photos will be coming in a bit later from PhilCast photog Jackie Boyd, who would be giving herself and Jackie Boyd Photography a 'ding' on my bell if this were a broadcast.
Now the real sales have to kick into high gear. We raise the most money for the center with our on-line sales of the 'PhilCast Third Time's a Charm' DVD.
CLICK HERE to place an order and we'll mail it right out to you in plenty of time to use as a stocking stuffer this Christmas!

"Philsh Fry" Friday
Friday, Nov, 2 2012
Well after much planning and preparation the big day is finally here.
Today we kick off my annual charity DVD campaign and we do it in style with a live broadcast of the show at the Red Ox in Appleton.
The whole gang will be there from 3-6 today and I can't wait to meet a lot of you and raise some much-needed money for the Thompson Community Center in Appleton along the way.
Two ways to do that today:
1) Here's the special of the day regarding the DVD called "PhilCast Third Time's a Charm". For a $15.00 donation you'll get the new DVD, a collection of audio clips and pictures from the past year of the PhilCast on the Woobie that I personally put together. There is also exclusive content, including an introduction video skit, on the DVD.
You'll also get a copy of last year's DVD and a PhilCast stock certificate signed over to you while supplies last. The only way to get one of these is to purchase the DVD in person.
2) John at the Red Ox has put together a Philsh Fry which is being sold from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. today only. Dine in or carry out because either way John is donating $5.00 from every Philsh Fry sold today to the Thompson Community Center as well.
We'll also have some PhilCast gear for sale on site. All proceeds go to the TCC.
Hope to see you there!

Harmonica here?
Thursday, Nov, 1 2012
We've got a guest coming in this afternoon for the segment right after the 3:30 news. There he is at the Grand Canyon.
First blush you might think that comedian Richard Lewis is stopping by, right?
Wrong.
That's Robert Bonfiglio, renowned for his talents on the harmonica, not exactly the first instrument you think of when you think about the symphony.
Robert will be the special featured artist performing with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra at the PAC Saturday.
Learn more about him and the gig on the PhilCast this afternoon. I hope he brings his harp!
.....
Tomorrow is the big day, as we kick off sales of our charity DVD, "The PhilCast; Third Time's a Charm" with a live show at the Red Ox Seafood and Steakhouse in Appleton. All proceeds will go to the Thompson Community Center of Appleton, as we give back something to the community throughout the holiday season.
Try a special "Philsh Fry" while you are there because $5.00 from every dine-in or take-out Philsh Fry will also be donated to the TCC. They'll be serving up the special all day and all night at the Red Ox. We'll be there from 3-6 live.
Reggie will be there selling the DVD's and some PhilCast gear as well. While supplies last we'll throw in a copy of last year's DVD and a PhilCast show stock certificate to those who make the $15.00 donation to the cause.
Mrs. Biggest Name (a.k.a. hurricane Sandy) will be there too. Pippa will do her ReciPIPPA the Week live as well.
Tony Gonzales, the director of the Thompson Community Center will stop by, as will Brenda "Big B" from Bulk Priced Foods, Handy Andy, Kris Kraft and more.
